The Bonsai Root Cutter is specifically designed for pruning roots during transplanting and re-potting. The cutting blades of Root Cutters are straight unlike the spherically-contoured blades of a knob cutter. The blades of the root cutter are much stronger for cutting the denser wood fibers usually found in roots. The head is contoured to provide added clearance.
These root cutters are great for work on all sizes of bonsai material.
This standard size root cutter has blades that are 1/2″. The overall length is 8 1/4″.
